SINGAPORE, 27 March 2025 — Mercy Relief is pleased to announce the successful completion of our recent ground mission in the West Bank, harnessing the spirit of Ramadan to provide Iftar meals to individuals and families in need. On this occasion, we delivered Iftar meals to over 400 beneficiaries residing in local refugee camps, emphasizing our commitment to supporting the most vulnerable in the community during this holy month.

In addition to the distribution of Iftar meals, our team comprising Board member LTC (Ret) Mejar Singh and Executive Director, Muhammad Ashik conducted significant evaluations on children’s educational needs in the region to identify essential resources and opportunities for enhancing educational access and quality for young learners.

Turning our focus towards long-term solutions, we actively explored initiatives to launch a sustainable livelihood program that would empower Palestinian women, as well as assess solutions for improving food security in the region. “Mercy Relief’s goal is to provide women with resources and skills to reclaim their means of income generation while simultaneously addressing food insecurity to ensure that families have reliable access to nutritious food,” said LTC (Ret) Mejar Singh.

During our mission, we also collaborated with local organizations to distribute meals specifically targeting malnourished and orphaned children, highlighting our ongoing commitment to combat hunger and improve the wellbeing of the most vulnerable populations.

Mercy Relief extends its sincere gratitude to all partners and donors who made this mission possible. Together, we remain committed to fostering hope and resilience in the West Bank.
